This is what I did to celebrate our nation's independence - I drove a 'Murican car designed by tea chugging queen humpers and built in the land of lazy farmhands who don't speak english to a mid pack finish in my class ahead of some nazi-designed hatchbacks but behind the other beaner-born, tea swilling hatchbacks.

In all seriousness, I had a lot of fun but I was not a fan of the course. It crossed over itself twice and the second crossover had a very narrow angle between the two paths, unlike the first one. Everyone got at least one or two DNFs but we all got 6 runs so it was all good. I had a 57.2 second run for my best along with 3 DNFs, a 62, and a 59 second run to round out my day. But it was 20$ so it was well spent.

Aren't those Fiestas mostly German engineered like the current Focus?

Maybe. Don't really care. It's still not MURICAN enough to be a patriotic drive for the 4th of july when you consider some hero was driving this:

The Fiesta is made in Meixco :p

The Focus is US-made, though.

Right. Built in america, assembled by mexican-americans down in flat rock, MI. I know that's beaner territory because my mom's side of the family is mexican and our family reunions are always downriver somewhere with an uncle or cousin or someone I don't know too well but I'll be damned if I'm going to turn down margaritas, tacos, and the chance to hit a rainbow donkey with a 5-iron just because my spanglish is poor.

This was taken at the Furrin automotive group autocross weekend at Grand Valley university in allendale, MI. I don't know where he was from but his car was awesome. I worked during his heat and that thing looked like a blast to drive.
